How do I know if HEROES is the right fit for my child?

We specialize in working with children who have complex physical, neurological, or sensory needs. If your child needs more than general therapy or you’re unsure where to begin reach out and we’ll talk through it with you.

Do I need a referral?

In many cases, no. You can call us directly to schedule an evaluation. If you’re planning to use insurance, a referral may be required depending on your plan.

How long is the evaluation?

Most evaluations last between 60–75 minutes, depending on your child’s needs and level of participation.

Do parents stay in the room during sessions?

Yes. We encourage caregiver involvement during evaluations and many therapy sessions. You are never excluded we view you as an essential part of your child’s care.

What should my child wear to therapy?

Comfortable clothing that allows movement. For children using braces or orthotics, please bring them along.

How often will my child need therapy?

Therapy frequency is determined after the evaluation and varies by child. We’ll recommend a plan that fits your goals and your child’s needs whether that’s once per week or more intensive sessions.

Can we schedule consistent weekly times?

Yes. Once your therapy plan is in place, we do our best to assign a regular weekly time that fits your family’s schedule.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand life happens. We ask for 24 hours’ notice when possible. You can call or text to make changes easily.

Insurance & Payment

Financial Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are an out-of-network provider and operate on a private-pay model, which allows us to offer more flexible, customized care. We can provide superbills upon request for reimbursement with certain plans.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit/debit, HSA/FSA cards, and checks. Payment is typically collected at the time of service.

Is there financial assistance or a payment plan?

Please contact us directly. We’ll do our best to work with you on a plan that fits your needs.
